Hello everyone,

My seatbelt buckle was giving me problem so I bought one for $60 from eBay and sent it to my mechanic. He then sent me this attached pictures saying I bought the wrong part. Is it the wrong part or is he looking at it wrong ?
Thank you !

No way to know without a part # off the ebay one. Your mechanic is probably right though. Why would he make it up. I assume the connector is not correct for your harness.

Didn’t think he’d lie about it. Maybe confused. Part number 1RJ431X9AC

This is the right seat belt 1RH741X9AB
This is the left seat belt 1RJ431X9AC

The one you bought appears to be the left buckle while the mechanic is saying that you need the right buckle.

Prices and pictures I got from Moparonlineparts.com and unfortunately the right buckle is about $150.
