Good morning, I have a 94 YJ with high back seats ( after market rugged ridge) I’m thinking about putting low back seats in . I read somewhere the low back seat increases the seat height , I’m 6’2 so I don’t need any height increase (unless I plan driving around without the top) just looking for pros and cons .
Thanks

There’s no reason to run a low back seat if you care about yourself and those who ride with you. Jmho.

Low back buckets came in CJs. Some Jeepers want to get a classic military old Jeep look for a YJ by using the low back buckets.
There's a bunch of other minor mods that add to the classic looks, like having a '87-'90 roll bar without the spreader bars to the windshield frame, removing the wheel flares and installing flat style steel wheels.
No doors, no top and an OD paint job add to the look. The square headlights are a dead giveaway that someone's having fun.

I don't think I'd want to run with low back seats.

Good Luck, L.M.
