Yup, I caused it....Man, did I EVER :)

Earlier this week I swapped on some 35's and a new beefy tie rod...took extreme pains to adjust tie rod to exact length as old......didn't drive the rig except in the yard to shift vehicles around....Didn't check toe in figguring it was really close and would do it later....Been working lots of overtime and it was time for beer, boobs n sleep.

PLUS, last week I Installed more lift with new coils and shocks BEFORE the new tires....didn't drive it afterwards then either....DUH.

Up until this point, I had toe prezackly where I wanted it running 33's....It really handled well and NO wiggle or wander even at 80....BUT that was BEFORE the extra lift :)

Well, this AM I decided to take the rig to work and had to drive silly slow due to school buses and school zones....Felt a little wiggle on ripply roads, but no big deal...different, but no big deal.

Yeah, right! This afternoon when I got off work I hit the road home at speed and MAN it hit all at once and didn't stop wobbling til I was almost stopped!...My butt was puckered by the time I got her off the road...JES
US, it started as a little wiggle in the steering wheel and went totally nuts on me......I looked up and I was close to autozone so I picked up a new Moog OEM track bar, then crawled home.

First thing I did was check toe in...LOL, it was a full inch!...DUH...the lift of course, raised my drag link in relation to my tie rod and I had super toe goin on already before I swapped on the 35's....Didn't drive it after the lift so didn't catch it...the bigger tires made it worse.

So, ok...went ahead and installed the new track bar and set toe in at a tad over 3/16...almost 1/4"......Drove hell out of it and all is good.....Did
I need new track bar?....Who cares....Old one had 130K on it and seemed plenty tight last month when I done dry steer test, so Out it came anyway.

Lesson learned......If you jack her up, reset toe in :)

Ok, you can flame me now for being stupid. I'm happy now that it's fixed, and that's enuff :)

Super toe is for girls in yoga pants, not lifted Jeeps!

It was the track bar, not the toe.

Adjusting the toe when you change the suspension height shouldn't even need to be said. It changes as the suspension height changes. Up and in, down and out.
