ok just had the tires rotated and at 58 mph I get a shake. it's not in the steering wheel or the front end. didn't have this before the rotation. I feel the shake in the floor pan.

If you didn't have it before the rotation it most likely is a tire balance issue. Some times if a tire is out of balance in the rear it is not as noticeable, move it to the front and you can feel it.

Hi firefighter079 -- question about that shaking at 58 mph -- did the shaking more or less smooth out after you accelerated past 60? I have the same thing, but haven't had a chance to do anything about it yet, so just wondered if we had exactly the same symptoms. Mine smooths out past 60. Thanks!

A speed sensitive vibration is pretty much always caused by nothing but a bad tire balance. A bad alignment will not cause a speed sensitive vibration or shimmy.
