Hey all -

I am doing routine maintenance on the 1990 YJ base model that I now have. It is completely stock. I want to put in new shocks. What would be the best shocks for a stock suspension 1990 YJ? There are so many out there to choose from and I really can't say I am an expert on shocks at all. If I go to NAPA or Advance Auto, what should I be looking for?

I got the cheapest Monroe's or Gabriel's can't remember which. They are yellow if that helps. Work great with the stock suspension, old ones were shot, all four had zero damping.

Speaking of damping, don't forget the steering damper.
