I tore up the stock plastic side steps the other day and replaced them with Rubicon Rock Rails. Now my wife is having trouble climbing in. Does anyone know of any small side steps that will work with the Rubicon Rails.

There is a available add on and someone posted there's here but I forgot where.. If I find it i'll link it.. They are a rock rail type extention deal to add more protection ment to fit with the stock rubicon rock rails.. It should be what your looking for...

XJ Knight Thanks for the tip. I have searched everywhere with no luck. I may have to fabricate some. I don't want my jeep to look like mall rat.

Thanks guys, those two look great. Wife should be able to step up on either one of those. Those are two great looking rigs. I simply must buy more lottery tickets.

I had a similar problem, I wanted Rock Rails but some family members had difficulty getting into my JK. I elected to go with the Rampage JK Retractable Rocker Guard (model #88732).

These can function as rock rails or side steps. Down pressure on the rail locks it into a side step, push down and pull the lever and the gas shocks take it back to the rock guard configuration.

If you don't already have a set of handles, they help A LOT!
I'm a short, chubby gal and i have what should serve as excellent steps on the side of mine, but I can't get my leg up there and then push hard enough to get into the jeep. So I just swing my leg into the tub and pull myself up with the handle.

If you go shopping for handles, I have been through three different brands and the Corbeau are the best quality out there. They run about $39 a set, but are worth it.
They have heavier straps, the handle doesn't slip around and nothing stretches out of shape.

Look at the RICO steps from Poison Spyder.
Seen these in action, super sturdy.
