Greetings Jeepers!

I recently replaced my rear bumper on my 2015 JKU, and now have issues closing my tailgate due to the spare rubbing against the bumper. I am still able to close it with some force, but excessive strain is being applied to the tailgate hinges.

Could someone please suggest a simple rear tire spacer disc that will provide about 1/2" of additional clearance for my spare?

I am trying to avoid adding something that will raise my spare (don't want to block my center tail light).

Thanks!

go buy cheap set of generic spacers at autozone like 20$ a pair about a 1/4-3/8 thick, sold in pairs.

run a nut onto each stud and then put tire on.

short plastic pipe spacers.

if you have an air source, lower the pressure in the spare, so it's not so resilient.

Thanks Dave, I am looking for something that has its own lugs that bolts on. Trying to avoid losing any of the threads on the existing lugs if I add one of those generic spaces.

that's the issue to overcome here.....studs are short and need extended, this is why most of us end up with a relocation bracket.
