you do know that a JK can fit 35s on only 2.5" of lift right? what are you planning to put on it with a 5" lift, 40s?

For reference, here's what 35" tires on a 3.5" lift looks like on a JKU:




This is 6.5" of lift:



Couldn't find a pic of 5" lift right off the bat . . . But I think these demonstrate pretty well just how big a 5" lift is on a JKU.

There is a lot of issues in doing a 5" lift on a JK and very expensive to overcome those issues. 3" for JK and 3.5" for JKU is the recommended max lift.

Saying that Skyjack is not a very good lift especially going big. There are a lot better lifts out there.

All the info is great. I'm not a rock crawler or hard core off road guy so I want to put on 35's with 20's. The lift ratios are much different on Jeeps than my F-150. So I appreciate the advise
