Got in the Jeep this morning and couldn't put it in any gear. Shifts have been getting tougher over the past couple days. Seems like the clutch won't disengage fully when the pedal is depressed. I'm guessing it is a slave cylinder failure. Jeep is a 1995 Rio Grande w/ the 2.5l. Questions are:

1. Is the slave cylinder external or internal?
2. How hard is the repair?
3. Is there anything else that could be wrong with the Jeep that I'm missing?

Opinions and comments are welcomed

Thanks in advance!

thinking if there is no resistance in the clutch, probably could be the master cylinder. planning on fixing them both.

actually it's the other way around. ended up the system was low on fluid. added some and it's returned to normal for now. probably going to change both out though on my winter break.
