Hey All,

Hope you can diagnose. Sometimes, not every time, when i slow down to stop at a light, theres a slight "knock" that sounds like its coming from the front right, or front center area of the jeep. Its not very loud or powerful, and it doesnt happen every time i slow down. Also, doesnt happen when i apply the brakes, just happens right before im about to come to a complete stop. I can feel it slightly in the brake pedal though. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

98 TJ SE (86,000mi), everything stock (i think).

Thanks. Is there any way to visually see if they are going bad? Like maybe what good ones look like compared to what bad ones look like? A little new to the jeep/off road world. Thanks again.

So i got my front upper and lower control arms replaced a little while ago. Def fixed the knocks that happened when id go over speed bumps or onto a driveway at slow speed. Still get the knock right before i stop tho.
