im planning on making a homemade snorkel for my 03 wrangler now does anyone know if i could still stall out in a puddle becasue of any water gettin in anywere else
i don't know if you would stall out because of this but you need to make sure your axle vents are sealed up...and you need to make sure your electrical system is waterproofed too...i know that can be a major problem
My distributer cap got water in it when I decided to play in puddles.. My jeep quit on me.. In the middle of a huge mud puddle up to the doors. So I figured it was water in the air intake. Two hours later of being upset because I couldn't find the problem. A friend suggested the distributed cap. and viola! So yeah.. just watch that. I think I may put some silicone or something around it.. smart idea I think
I thought the 2000's and up didn't use distributors any more. my 01 has the coil packs connected straight to the plugs. gone through some massive holes and never it never even missed.
