A couple of us are going to run Hackett & Longwater Gulches on Sat Feb 6th.

Hackett & Longwater Gulches (DIVIDE, CO)
Saturday Feb 6
Meet at Rudy's Hwy 24& 21st
- 9:15am
LEAVE 9:30 sharp!

If you're not familiar with the Gulches- Beautiful views, steep climbs/ declines.

Suggested:
*Good/Great tires!!!
*1 Locker
*winch
*recovery gear
*stock Rubicon's should be fine.
WARM GEAR- if we get stuck after dark-come prepared!
(Plan for worst...)

CHAINS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Napa, Advanced Auto, Les Schwab Tires all carry chains.
-put them on BEFORE the run, check for clearance.
-2-3 bungee to keep them tight.

Should be a blast!!

I may have an open seat,if someone wants to ride along. Will know for sure in next 24hrs.

I have a feeling not a whole lot happened ;) We had a full week of heavy snow coupled with 40mph winds, temps that never went above low 20's and full overcast the entire week. I would be surprised if they even got to Hackett, Cedar Mountain Road would have been good for snow bashing all by itself...
