Behind the rear and in front of the center body mounts i'm assuming these are from step bumpers or something? What ever was there has created holes in the frame at the rear on both sides... any ideas?

Your assumption would be correct someone mounted something. Just make sure they are painted/treated and you can always patch or fill them. I don't think there is any threat to structural integrity of the frame.

Cool, my original thought was to grind smooth any remaining bolts and and cap the outer frame rail with some flat steel, at least for the rear holes, the driver side is pretty big. I imagine, i could get away with just filling the fronts with some weld...

Has anyone ever seen any prefab stuff for the outer frame rails? Not talking about the entire sections that Autorust sells
