So I've decided to do an SOA for sure. I would like to replace the leaf springs on my '90 YJ as I feel they need a replacing. It seems that they are original and eventually need to be replaced. My question...

In doing the SOA, would it be ideal to replace the leaf springs as well and could I install a taller leaf spring package in conjuntion with an SOA to acheive a larger lift. Example, adding a 2-3 inch leaf spring package with the SOA giving me a total of app. 7 inches of lift. Would this be possible to get a better ride, taller vehicle. I know other factors are involved but basically it woudn't hurt regardless of my SOA to replace the factory leaf springs right?
