In the red circle, you can see where the top rises.

Is this the framework for the soft top, or is there a speaker sound system bolted to the roll bar?

Also, what brand is this top?

That looks similar to the cross bar on the sunrider top I put on last weekend. The windows are different so I'm not sure on the brand. That weird part you have circled is part of the framework of the soft top.
