I've been known to just put the top up and leave the windows out when it rains. Just roll up the front windows and fold and flip the back seat forward. Keep in mind that anything left in the back will get wet. I did the whole rainy season last year with just a safari top and didn't have any real problems. Got a little wet when the wind blew the wrong direction, but not enough to make me put the top and windows back on.
