1990 YJ, straight 6,258...Ran beautifully since new ignition rebuild. All of a sudden no spark. In nit gonna replace the ICM every two months so I bought a distributor for a 74 CJ....gonna go to points instead of electronic. Question is, can I use the same coil??

I would think you would have to match the coil to the years of the dizzy., Also what ever is causing the ICM to burn up still is there and may play hell with the new setup IMHO.
For the coil and the dizzy there are a lot of aftermarket performance products that can be used.
