I recently had the motor changed in my 07 JKU, and was having problems with the starter turning over. I had the battery checked, which was ok, so I replaced the starter.
Unfortunately it still has a real problem turning over, and will just click, where I will have to hit the ignition several times before it finally turns over.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

You likely have a bad engine ground. The ground strap at the back of the engine is either not connected or in bad shape. Run a 4 gauge cable from the battery negative to the alternator bracket.

I did find a loose ground on the back of the motor, but did not change the issue. Found that the problem was with the Neutral Safety Switch not making good contact. If I pushed forward on the shifter while in park it will start every time!
