It’s currently a dropped arm. I’ve been getting death wobble, so I was wondering if running a stock pitman arm and lowering my track bar on the passenger side would possibly fix some of the issues.

As a rule, a drop pitman arm is a bad way to correct steering geometry. A better way is a drag link flip and raised track bar bracket. It’s a crappy rough country lift (hence the drop arm), 72000 miles, drag link was replaced about 10000 miles ago, track bar replaced a few hundred miles ago, tie rod is stock with a new one in the mail, caster is 5 degrees with 1-2 degrees of pinion angle.Tell us more... Yeah the drop pitman arm was installed with a crappy rough country kit by a shop awhile back. Didn’t know much then, but I know a lot more now! I was told by a local shop that it’d be a good idea to order one, so I was just looking for some more opinions.As a rule, a drop pitman arm is a bad way to correct steering geometry. But a drop pitman arm should not cause death wobble.
The drop pitman arm puts more load on the bearings in the steering box. I just went through the death wobble.it turned to be my ball joints.I changed my entire steering and it turned out to be the ball joints.The drop pitman arm puts more load on the bearings in the steering box. Death wobble is typically caused by play in the front end linkages and/ or ball joints. There is an excellent video set by planman that pretty thoroughly covers it. I would link you to the videos but I am on my phone out at an off road park in PA.
