My steering linkage is in need of a rebuild so instead of throwing factory parts at it I wanted to upgrade to something heavy duty. I'm thinking of doing it in stages with the linkage 1st, Pump 2nd and then a PSC gear box. Jeep has a 4" Lift with 35s and stock 30/44 combo. I am going to replace the 30/44 with a HP44/9" combo (sooner than later but not right now) so Should I waste money on the linkage or just rebuild the using replacement parts and then splurge on the HD linkage when I do the axle swap?
What are some of the cheaper options out there for better than factory linkage? I would do the Currie linkage but it will be obsolete when I do an axle swap so I'm kind of torn.
