Hello all....my 04 Rubicon shakes at speeds above 50mph. It's the steering wheel and what feels like the front end. I had a wheel balance done and it was 90% better for a day, the next day it was back to shaking. I took it in tyo a mechanic and the said it was the upper and lower bearings and a trac bar, they said it's common for a track bar to go bad. It would cost $1000 to fix. Does this sound about right? I want to get a few opinions from a couple different mechanic's

There is no such thing as upper and lower bearings. There are upper and lower ball joints. Track bar bushings are a common wear item that can give you front end shakes. If the $1000 is parts and labor for both ball joints and track bar, that's reasonable, but if it's for the track bar alone, it's way out of line.
