well the auction just closed got my self a ford 302 tranny and transfer case, so i suppose its time to call up advanced adapters and get the motor mounts. the one question i did have is for those who have done the conversion what did you do for the crossmember to hole the tranny up? i was thinking custom or adapting the stock skid? any ideas or insight would be great!

Don't call AA direct. Call one of their dealers. Much cheaper. I get all my AA stuff through Dirk at DPGOFFROAD.com.

I just bought the conversion piece to adapt my Dana 300 to my 4l60e tranny and a cross member bracket that bolts to the adapter piece. I plan to modify my RE flat skid(which uses the same style holes as stock) to work with the new crossmember bracket. :)
