Just got my 2013 JKU and absolutely love it. It came with an alarm and I have a few questions.

1. What's with having to arm it while the door is open? Seems odd.

2. Is there anyway to make it arm everytime you lock the doors with the FOB? Or if it hit it twice or something? Like a procal?

3. What sets it off?

Thanks

Well, that sounds a little strange... not at all like my '12. Mine arms with the lock button while the doors are closed, then alarms if any door latch is opened (without being unlocked).

I'm kinda curious as to what the other '13 owner response to this, and if it changed.

My apologies. I just re-read the user guide and it says to arm the alarm, press the lock button on the key fob or the lock button on the door, while the door is open. Re-reading it, it appears they meant the button on the door, not the Fob. Which makes sense since you wouldn't want it armed when inside.
