I've seen many pictures with stock JK on 33s, but they never say how wide the tires are. I just wanted to know if I can put the 33x12.50 on the stock jk with 1.5" spacers? I want be doing any serious off roading with this setup, I'm just in the need of tires and I can't buy lift and tires at the same time right now. Thank you and if you have any like this please share!

Do you need the spacers? I'm looking at getting 33s on 15s to help make my flat fenders look better. So I was going to get 33x12.50R15 and was told I will have to chop my air dam a bit, but other than that they should fit.

You'll need new 15" wheels, which will have increased back spacing. I ran 33x1250 on 15" wheels with 3.75" back spacing with no spacers and no rub. There's a big thread on this from a couple years ago.

here's an idea of what you'll get....old pic but 33x12.5x15, no lift or spacers, no trimming of anything, no rubbing. MB72 rims which are 3.75" back spaced

kinda shows width a bit....

It should be noted that 33x12.50R17 and 33x12.50R15 tires are not recommended to be mounted on anything narrower than an 8.5" wheel. Stock wheels are only 7.5" wide.
