I'm in the process of routing a 12 volt wire from the cabin directly to the battery and want it to look at professional as possible.

So far, my suggestion has been to route it through the cabin by using a coat hanger to remove a path through the yellowish insulation towards the top of the dash near the passenger side door. Doing so however causes the wire to come out in the engine compartment in a path not all that desirable. I ended up inserting the wire through an existing hole to get it to the battery (as shown in the pic) but am wondering if there are any other images someone has out there that illustrates how they did it.

Thanks!

There is a rubber plug just above and to the drivers side of the master cylinder. Just poke a hole in it with a screwdriver or something like that and poke your wire though. It goes straight in to the drivers footwell up and behind the dash. Thats what I did to mount my RR A pillar switch pod. Sorry, no pictures
