So being that my rear window zipper is all messed up until I feel like paying the dealer to take a look at it i am content to fold my rear window into the tailgate and remove the rest of the windows and put the top into the sunrider position. This is a particularly handy feature when I am leaving work and there is no one there to help me put the top compeltely down by myself.

The one thing I can not seem to do is get it to lay like they do in the video, I fold it carefully so that I get the infamous W or M depending on which direction you look at it...(upside down or right side up :-D ) but i almost always have a decent droop of top that would otherwise be sitting on the top of my rear seat passengers head. nine times out of ten I do not have anyone in the rear seat but it still bothers me.

so my next quest is to either find something for purchase or fabricate a simple object that can sit in the rail and help hold the top up so that it does not sag.

If/when I get around to making a support I will be sure to post plenty of pictures :)

I'm a little bitty thing, and I can put the top down by myself..... Not that this will help with the sunrider thing, but really, getting it down is easy, up is a challenge, but I can do that too, only I can't get the windows in. What's messed up with your back window zipper? If you can unzip it to lay it down, why can't you take it all the way out?

I have the same problem. It usually hits my wife on the head...Not good. I found that if don't "w" the back part of the top, and only "w" the part that would have been over the driver's section, the droop is kept to a minimum. I also try to pull it tight (left and right) from either side of the passenger section.

I just realized that I assumed you have a four door. These thoughts may or may not help you. But, since they will only keep me up at night if I don't throw them out there - There you go.

Thanks for the advice TD. I did notice that when I pulled it tight from both sides it seemed to help.

As far as being able to take the back window out it's because the zipper is pulled apart and the pull that is on the right hand side (passenger) is stuck. Luckily the zipper is stuck in the bottom corner there and my window is sealed up tight as long as I run the other zipper pull back to the same corner. When I drop my window in I just unzip the only working pull all the way to the drivers side bottom corner.
