i posted earlier but i have another question...would i be better of just getting a super 35 axle kit for my dana 35 rear axle (upgrades to 30 spline) or would it be better to just go with the 8.8...31 spline...and cheaper! and i think its new...or almost new...the specs are on my previous post...
and by the way...would the dana 30 front axle be enough for the 35's (since it only has stress on it when it is in 4 wheel drive)?? if not would it be better to swap it out for a hi pinion dana 30, get the super 30 front axle kit, or get a dana 44 or some other axle... (superior makes the super 30 and 35 axle kits)
thanks for the help

I would take the 8.8 vs the super 35. As for the front 30, you can run 35's on it just fine,, I would however get a selectable locker as that will help to limit the stress on it in 4wd If you did find a HP 30 from an XJ for cheap I would pop that in there as it will beef it up a bit. The super 30 kits is nice too. I would carry some spare ball joints with what ever option you go with. Confused yet? LOL good luck with what ever you go with!
