You can put a wider tire on a stock rim. I am running a 12.50 on a set of canyons. They are 15 x 8 and I just had to get 1 1/4 inch spacer to widen them out to keep from rubbing.
Super Swamper Pics (34" x 9.5") ??????
Anyone running the 34" x 9.5" wide Super Swampers on their rig (with stock rims)? I'm considering a set for my build and wanted to see if anyone had some pictures.
I would really want to keep the stock 5 star rims and I noticed that S.S. has a tire that fits those rims. I'm curious how they look.
Do these tires have any road manners?

I ran 33's on the steel 5 star rims for a while and didn't have any problems. I just adjusted the stops out a little. The 34x9.5's will look good, I like the narrow tread tires. I would get a regular size thats not a size readily carried anywhere that I know so if you get in a bind you'd be screwed. I would think about some 33x10.50's there ain't gonna be much noticable difference.
I was considering spacers, however BINARYKING mentioned that PA is against the use of them so the 9.5" that Super Swamper offers caught my interest.
