right now im on a 4" suspension and a 1" bl on 33s. next summer im upgrading to 35s along with gears and rear control arms and brakes in the future. do i really need an sye? im going higher in tire size and my jeep rides perfect right now

You souldn't need the SYE if it's already running perfectly. You'd only need that if you changed the angle from the tranny to the rear end. Tires shouldn't make a difference in the angle of the drive shaft. However, if the control arms change the angle, of the drive shaft (which they shouldn't) , you may have to. You may however need to change the speedo gear so that the MPH reads correctly.

Yeah I need to do that. What is it $30 to get speedo gears?

If you are sitting on a 4" lift with no SYE you have to have the TC drop. :(
I would add the SYE/CV set up and remove the TC drop and get back the lift you paid for.:thumb:
