I will be installing a roof rack that I need to take off the taillights to drill a couple holes for the brackets..
The customer service said I need to get into the panel behind the lights.

How do I do this?
I looked in my Haynes manual and there nothing about it

Thanks

4 philips head screws - one in each corner of the taillight.
Should take no more than 2 minutes...

Pull the lenses off-four corner screws, then there are three screws inside holding the fixture to the body. No need to access behind them.

X 2. Make sure you leave a good ground still. I'd just install it and if I had probs after look to free up ground. If everything Works fine no worries it's grounded. Haven't had stock lights in a while but memory thinks there is a ground wire on a bolt. Should work fine though. Just a heads up.
