Props to your HS / college profs, that’s a wonderfully eloquent post.

As for your baby: if I were you I’d fix it. I’m sure the front axle is fine, so you throw a few parts at it to line ‘er back up and get an alignment. The body damage is honestly pretty minimal IMO and Jeeps have famously easy body panels and fenders that bolt on / off; that’s one of the reasons Wranglers are comparatively less expensive to insure than most other vehicles. A little dent in the tub can disappear for the right price. And you know what.. they don’t make ‘em like that anymore… so don’t let ‘er go. IMHO…
