I'll start off by saying this is my first post. I've been reading this site since the day I got my 2012 Sport 2-door 6 weeks ago, and it's been a huge help in plotting my upgrades to the Jeep. My wife was all about my JK until I started reading wranglerforum!

The first upgrade I'd like to do is add some height to the Jeep, followed by tires and wheels. I've already purchased some nearly new 18/59 springs, and I'm planning on adding a teraflex leveling kit to that, but that got me thinking...

Is going from 14/55 to 18/59 springs AND adding a leveling kit going to put me in a category where I need to worry about DS angles and other things like that? I've seen lots of posts on here of people running one or the other on a 2-door, and a few folks with both mods on a 4-door. Hope I'm not committing the crime of not searching enough!

I plan to go with 15" MB Chaos 5's down the road with 33" duratracs, but that will likely have to wait til tax season...

You'll be fine. The whole thing will settle a bit over time, and it takes awhile even with the larger lifts (3"+) to start affecting the ds's. :thumb:

I have nearly the setup you are talking about. Gained about 3" in front at 2" in back. You are going to want to ditch the crappy stock shocks, once you lift it up and add the bigger tires, you'll see how bad they are. I got a great deal on some new Rubi shocks, big improvement, but I want to get something better eventually.
