So I have the teraflex spacer kit on my 2012 2 door sahara. I have 13/55 springs. I love the look, but I'd like better off road handling and prefer more stable on road manners.

Thinking of going with a set of 18/59 take offs along with a set of take off rubi shocks. I would keep one of the one inch spacers up front to keep out the rake. No winch and I run a soft top with stock bumpers. I guess I'd keep the extended sway bar links on there too.

I know there are lots of threads on here regarding this. Just looking for specific opinions on my particular set up.

I gained 2" switching from 13/55 to 18/59 springs on my 2dr Sport. Stock bumpers on mine too. Ride definitely firmed up and eliminated my rake too. The front now has a small (0.25") rake but it's barely noticeable.

If you're trying to save money, I say go for it. Otherwise look at the Rock Krawler or Teraflex 1.5" kits.

I would do the 19/60 as you will probably lose half an inch over a year. Stock springs seem to settle

I've got virtually this exact set up except I run mine on a JKU.

I had 14/59 springs and removed those in favor of 18/59 springs. On top of that I also had a leveling kit (pucks) installed. I was able to get a level ride as well as about 2-2.5" of height as well.

I've got a Rugged Ridge tube stubby bumper that I installed after the lift and saw nothing to bring back the rake.

I think the 1" front spacer will be too much and you will have negative rake.
I'm starting to think that too. Think I'll be happier with the ride and overall handling without those spacers in there. Think I'll go with the 18/59 springs and rubi shocks.

Thanks. I'm sure down the road I'll do a proper 2.5" lift with a regear, but I want to keep her stock for a while.

UPDATE...So I put the 18/59 springs and Rubicon shocks on today and WOW! What a difference! The ride is amazing now, particularly on the highway, no more constant correcting or swaying after every lane change and bump. I was constantly making small corrections before with the steering wheel, now it's dead straight and I'm not back and forth with the wheel the whole time.

I do feel the bumps a bit more through the shifter and steering wheel, but that is very minor and the stability and improved handling FAR outweigh that small change. I kept one 1" spacer on all 4 corners and I'm glad I did. It looks great and rides perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this mod for anyone with softer stock springs who wants to improve handling and gain a little height.

Here's the stock before pic and after shot from today. In the after pic it looks like there's a little rake, but that's the angle of my driveway. Looks dead even in person.

Funny I was driving on the highway today and I called to Thuren fab about a custom suspension. The jeep seems to skip around with every bump or pot hole I hit. I'm looking for a smoother highway ride as yes I am a mall crawl type o guy

Today I took off my 14/55's with a Synergy leveling kit (1 3/4 front 3/4 rear spacers) and put on 18/60's (they had 20 miles on them). I had purchased 3/4 front spacers to go with the 3/4 rear ones but I decided to leave the spacers off and just go with the new springs. I already put Rubicon shocks on. There is a nice gap between my 33x12.50 GYD's and the fenders and I thought adding the spacers would be too much and make the tires look smaller. I don't off road so there was no need for additional lift. If there is any rake it is so minimal that I am not concerned.

23" up front and a hair under 23" on the rears. Much better than before if you remember which is weird because it looks more level now and before the front was 23 while the rear was 21 3/4 even though in the first picture there seems to be more rake. Can you explain this?

Prob just a illusion. If it looks level the front is actually higher. Some people will try to level the jeep by looks and actually over correct the front.
