Have a new set of wheel and tires coming this week. Polished MB 72, 17"-8.5 with 295-70-17 Falken Rocky Mountain.

Ordering a TF leveling kit tomorrow, 2" in front and 1" in the back. Just wondering if there will be a problem with the stock shocks.

Or should I get the same type leveling kit that is 1 3/4" up front, and 3/4" in the back.
Thanks Smitty

I just installed this kit, the shocks will work fine. They are still a good ways from being stroked all the way out.

WOW, thanks guys for the fast reply. I was a little worryed about taking 2" of stroke from the front shocks.

Do you guys think my 295 tires will be to much for my daily driver...

30 miles each way to work, don't really wheel.. just some gravel and fire roads.

I have the leveling kit and stock wheel with 285/70/17's and they work fine.

I am going to call and change my order in the morning. Noticed the 295"s have a E load rating. Did a little looking and folks say there stiff and ride a bit ruff.

I placed my order with Tires Direct at closing time Saturday afternoon, just hope I can get them change to the 285...

Its always something...

Thanks again, Smitty
