The other week I was getting out of my Jeep Wrangler Arctic edition and the door opened about an inch or so then would go any further i managed to open it I took it to the dealer and they said its because of the cabin pressure is this true or does anyone else have a different opinion

If it "opened about an inch or so" it can't be pressure -- any pressure would have been released through that gap.

Also -- any pressure in the cabin would OPEN the door, not keep it from opening.

Sounds like the dealer's rep has been smoking something funny... and trying to blow smoke up your patoot in the bargain.

Sounds to me like a hinge is binding somehow.

There full of sh*t.. for one how can a jeep hole cabin pressure (i mean really that's like saying a screen door on a sub will keep water out)... you have a hinge thats knocked out of alignment..

Have you had the doors off at all?

If the hinge is out of alignment can i fix it myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic

Shouldn't you first determine that that is the problem?
If it's under warranty still, take it back to the dealership and have them fix the thing
