So I started thinking I may need to go to 35's instead of the 33's I have now.
Here is the set up

8.8 4.56 ARB with c-clip eliminators and chrom shafts
D30 with chrom shafts
4.0 stroked to 4.6
AX15
Tera-4-1 t-case
4.5 SUA lift
Planning on running flat fenders front and rear. More than likely the metalcloak arched on the front.

Have a budy that will buy my new 33's for exactly what I paid for them so I won't be out of that money..

What say ya'll?

Any pictures out there of rigs running this?

I've got 35's on my jeep with a 4" suspension lift.. I love it. Perfect setup. Not too high, easy to get in and out of using the grab handle, and step up bar.. I'd go for it especially if you can sell your 33's for what you paid for em.

35's would be perfect for that set up. I bet with the 33's and the 4.56 gears you are a little gear bound right now, kinda like you need another gear to shift into going down the road?

I have basically the same set up except with a 4.2L carbureted, and i plan on going up to the 35's in the spring. Had them on it before, and thought i would like 33's better but found out that my rpms are too high all the time cause of the gearing.

Can you post a couple of pictures of your rig please? I see it in your avatar but it's hard to see

I'm running 35's with 4" SUA and 1" Boom shackle lift. I rub quite a bit in the back though but its worth it for me. I have 4.10's and do well but with flat rear fenders and 4.56 you will be fine.
Jack3D are you rubbing much with those fenders?

The only time I rub is if I crank the wheel all the way in one direction. Which I don't need to do often. And my rub is in the front not the rear. Other than that, there is zero rub. I will probably put a 1" body lift on at some point to eliminate all possibility of rubbing. Or do you guys think I should do 2" just to be safe?

No, you shouldn't have a problem at all. Keep us posted on it, looking forward to seeing it.

Jack3d, (Not trying to get off topic from the OP), I plan on going with a 2" BL to get the extra clearance. Obviously 3" is highly looked down upon but I've talked to people running 2" and it does the job well and doesn't look bad. Still curious on how you dont rub in the rear when your flexed out? Do you have any pictures you could post on my build thread of yours flexing?

I think a zombie slimmed him :)
Haha this morning it was completely covered in mud and muck.. Tonight's my wedding anniversary, so I washed it. Didn't want her to have to get in and out of a mud covered ride going to dinner.. We'll probably hit some mud on the way home.. It looks better muddy in my opinion.

Of course your right. What gears do you think you could pull on the high number side? Three and a halfs? tall fours? What do you think would bring back road speed likeability?
