Is it worth spending money on a throttle body spacer. If so what's a good one..?
They "might" help if its carborated. On injected though is 100% snake oil. I would t waste money on it either way until you have done all the real things that add power.

It's true adding a little more length to your intake system does nothing.

However... it's the -shape- of what you add that makes a difference. We can argue this all day, but when you change the shape of the passage-way of your airflow it will change one of the following.

-If you have a divergent shape, airflow will slow down, but the pressure will increase.

-If you have a convergent shape, air velocity will speed up.

-If you have a helix-bored shape, the airflow will swirl around in a vortex, and mix the fuel-air mixture better.

Now does any of this make a ridiculous amount of HP be produced? Probably minimal. But, it will propagate a better burn in the cylinder bc you changed the pressure/velocity of the air just before it enters the intake. Worth $80? Probably not. The effect is minimal, but, a little more is a little more to me IMO. Maybe you can find a used one for cheap too.

If you used a TBS in conjunction with a ram-air intake, a high-flow filter, a larger diameter TB it would work better than if you just slapped one on and expected to see a change.
