Hey everyone! There are so many thread about all different tires, so I was thinking to put it all in one place like the lift review thread.

Post what brand, size and a few pictures. How much you paid for them and some pros and cons.

This will hopefully make it easier for fellow jeepers to quickly compare tires from actual people and get actual real life reviews so they can buy what they want.

If this does take off, hopefully a mod can sticky it so it's easier for everyone to find :) :thumb:

Thanks!

33/12.50/15 General Grabber Red Letters!

I love 'em! I had the BFG A/Ts before and the Grabbers out perform in many ways... The only thing is I am burning through them kinda quickly. They have lost 3/32 of tread in 10k miles... Other than that, perfect! And the red letters turn a lot of heads

I will be up grading to some A/T in the next month. I was looking at the General Grabber AT2 and the Good Year Duratrac.

Can anyone give me some pro's and con's on either? I have herd alot of good things about the Duratrac's. but nothing on the Grabber AT2's.

I would recommend looking into the Rocky Mountain Falkens/ Falken Wild Peaks (same thing) or of course The BFG All Terrains. In my opinion the only general tire that you should get is the Red letters, (and they do come without the red letters) and I dont care for Goodyear. So I would look into the Falkens or the BFGs.. and whatever you decide buy them through Discount Tire/ America's Tire. They have the best prices!

Same here... Great tires! They are the most popular tire in the U.S. They haven't changed at all in at least 10 years... Well worth the extra buck

Good year Duratracs! I love mine 33x12.50x15 (actually measured 32x11.50" on the 15x8" rims). better than my old BFG T/A KOs. quiet and smooth on road, great in the rain- no hydroplaining. awesome in sand- no airing down. lighter than most A/Ts that means better MPGs, and they have an aggressive look to them.

On my second set of 305/70 17 Goodyear kevlar mt/r s. good looking /aggressive tread, great Offroad performance, quiet too. The only downside is price. Mounted and balance $1300 for 4. I don't know what I actually got mileage wise cause I bought the jeep used but ran 20,000 and they looked like they needed replacing when I started. Guessing 45k. Did I say they were quiet? I like e'm better than my bfg KMs. I like handkook dynapros too...

I have 17" ProComp wheels with 305/65R17 ProComp tires, all installed by the previous owner.

Nice wheels but I wouldn't recommend the tires (at least for daily drivers).

The tires are nery agressive but have become hard with age (not sure how old they are). They are great off road but tend to give me some sway and drift around town (good on the freeway though). A machanic at my dealer said he is familiar with ProComps and says this is typical. Like I said, they are great off road though.
