Hey Guys! Getting ready to move to the Minneapolis area here in December ( bad timing... I know) I want to swap to 35s once the move is done, but need a good tire shop to get them purchased/balanced at. I'm currently running AEV pintlers and locally here in MD I haven't been able to find a shop who wouldn't mar the finish on them.

I see there are several discount tire shops in the area. Which one is best?

EDIT: forgot to add I'll be upgrading to the AEV 3.5" kit and will want an alignment post install. What's a good shop?

My buddies dad owns a shop called lerum automotive. We are all into jeeps so I'm sure they could do what your looking for.

I wouldn't recommend the AEV lift unless your only going to drive it on the road. There geometry brackets are prone to bend if your going to do any offroading. I'd recommend Rock Krawler and I can get you a smokin deal. Pm me if your interested.

AEV is already installed. 95% DD

An older thread, but whatever. Hey Kelsey, welcome to MN.

As for the drop brackets, thankfully they have been redesigned. Those that have them say that they are tied together and are made from thicker steel.

If mine get bent, I'll just replace them with the new ones. Pretty cheap as mods go. By the way, those that have bent them say that the Jeep isn't disabled. So, just some reassurance...

You can also go without them. Before they were introduced, all AEV Jeeps used the stock positions...there was no other change; in essence, they were set up just like RK. So this is no reason to avoid AEV. You just have the option. A worthwhile option IMO especially with the improved brackets.
