So I upgraded to 285 70 17 and my tire warning light comes on shorty after I turn on the jeep. It goes away about a minute after driving. I aired them up to 40lbs and did a battery pull with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Could be a bad sensor or the computer wasn't reset for larger tires. The computer is programmed with tire size and psi from the factory. Change a variable and the indicator light comes on

TPMS is only based upon the tire pressure that's listed on the door jamb unless it's re-set using a programmer. The tire size only comes into play with the speedo on a manual trans. JK and the speedo and trans shift points on an auto trans. JK, if the size is different than what's listed on the door jamb.
