Hey everybody! I just got my 1997 wrangler about a year ago and Im new to the forum and am 17 so I need all the help i can get so i can learn. With that said I'm wondering if I'm getting the right combo of wheels and tires. The wheels I'm looking at are 16x8, 5x4.5 Raceline Raptor with 4.5 backspacing. The tires I'm looking at are 285/75r16 BFG KM2. Will these wheels work with these tires? I don't want the wheels sticking out farther than the tires. I have 2" wheels spacers. I am looking for a little beefier tire that "puffs out" a little more. Sorry for the terminology. I would appreciate any input and advice! Thanks!

With an 8" wide wheel you should be fine. The tire will bulge out a bit on the wheel. I think that is what you're asking.

I googled this 285/75r16 on 16x8 then looked at the images. It will give you lot of looks at that set up.

Ok Thanks! And there is also another set of those wheels with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 that are cheaper. What is the difference between 5x114.3 and 5x4.5? There is also a 5x139.7. Why are those cheaper? Everything else is the same.
