Hey - I replaced a leaky Pitman Gear box on my 2000 TJ yesterday. After I added new fluid and bled the lines at idle the power steering worked great. Smooth and easy to turn from stop to stop at idle. The steering fluid level is where it should be. When I took the vehicle for a test drive it lost the power steering assist at low RPM within a minute of driving. If I rev the engine ~2000 RPM the PS assist is there. At idle I have to really muscle it. Any ideas on what could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance!
