I am looking for a few pictures. I can't decide what I want the look to be.

I would like to see a stubby bumper with a bull or stinger and narrow tube fenders and 3 inch or bigger lift.
Also one with the wider tube fenders.

I can't decide if I want a lot of dirt or a ton of dirt thrown at me.:lmao:

haven't taken any pics of the TJ without the flares installed yet.. but here's a pic with a Rock Hard stubby and the MC 6" flares on a 3" BB and 33" KM2's

and a shot from the side...need to adjust the rake a little now that it has the heavier bumper and winch installed

and one from the rear so you can see the coverage of the 6" flare over the 33x10.50 BFG

That is a great looking rig!
How is it for throwing stuff on you?
Why did you go with the wider fenders?

the way the flares taper as they go down towards the bottom of the Jeep lets the tires throw a little bit more mud and water, but not too bad :)

went with the wider flare on the TJ to avoid tire coverage issues with the local PD..I have a set of 4" flares I now run on my YJ but those rims have a different backspace so the track width is a little narrower on my little 4banger

This is my rig. I know i have small tires im waiting to purchase bigger ones soon. And the stinger is on its way. 3.5 in lift on 30s. I have flat off brand proz rock crawler flares with JCR Inners. And on the front is a rough country stubby winch bumper. Missing a winch i know. I also havent purchased that haha

I want to do highlines eventually. All those builds look great. I still can't decide on narrow or slightly wider fenders yet!. The JK axles look mean. I like that a lot.

Does anyone feel like they should have gotten a wider or more narrow fender?

that's just one of the nice things about the Metalcloak fenders, you're not locked into a certain size flare...you can pick between no flare, a 1 1/2" rub rail, a 4" flare, a 6" flare or an 8" flare just by unscrewing a couple of bolts

as of now I have a set of the 4" flares on my YJ, and a set of the 6" flares on my TJ, and since they're both Overlines, and fit either model Jeep, I can swap them around, or even mix and match, if I want

I have to replace mine soon. Someone had an accident in my Jeep and left me to fix it. But on a positive note at least I have a reason to upgrade. I believe I will save up for the MC stuff but I do have to put something on soon instead of what is there now.

Rick, do you have a link on your light bar?

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Sure do! Here's the kit with the bar, A-pillar mounts & wiring harness:

https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/j5-led-light-bar-amber-clearance-cab-lights-97-06-wrangler-tj

Or, if you want to use your own mounts here's the bar itself:

Wiring harness here:

Thanks,

I took off my stock bumper, and drove around for a couple days without it to see if i "liked" the look. Several comments were made from other Jeepers including, "Dude that's not safe, what if you reared someone." All is well now, ended up with a Dirtworx bumper, (mid-length)
