Hello and Good Morning!
I just parted with my CJ7 so that I could get a TJ. 1st priority will be to tow behind my Motorhome. 2nd would be so the Wifey can drive it.
So I wanted to learn more about the difference between the years and the upgrades. Curious about how many miles would be too many etc.
thanks in advance!

your primary priority is to tow it behind your motorhome?

all TJ's tow almost the same, so that opens it up wide for you, a manual trany would be best for towing, then again your wife would have to know how to drive a manual since you wrote that is the second priority.

I wouldn't buy a TJ with a million miles on it but 150,000 would not be too much if it were well cared for.

sounds like an SE (4 cyl) with a 5-speed manual might be good for your needs, they are lighter (slightly) and cheaper than the other TJ models.

Yes, this will be my 2nd Wrangler so I know what I am buying. Thanks but no 4 Cylinder for me. I will be adding a secondary braking system and the motorhome is a diesel pusher so that little bit of weight difference wouldn't make much difference.
I was more concerned about Drivetrain say Fixed Yoke? or Dana 44 etc.
