Looking to touch up some spots on the black hardtop on my son’s new to us 15 JK. I tried acrylic black stolen from wife’s craft closet: too matte and dull. I tried Testor’s black model paint: too dark black/ shiny. Does the dealer carry paint for this? Anyone found a match?

Thanks

They sell PXF paint pens. The dealer might have to special order it, or you can get it online.

Rustoleum semi-gloss black. The color is spot-on and the finish is pretty close.
It also doubles for rust-patrol for the undercarriage.

If you're in the southern states, use a sharpie.. when it drys it will match almost perfectly.

I use a Sharpie and nobody can find the scratches.
