I use a fixed A-frame towbar like this Reese towbar. It is a little harder to hitch up than the more expensive ones with the telescoping arms because you have to get close to the ball to start with. Takes me a couple of minutes. Costs a fraction of the Blue Ox and etc.
Unless you are removing the driveshafts, I would trailer the Jeep. The Np 231 transfer case dosent have a true neutral, which when towing can cause the transfer case to wind up and litereally cause it to explode. You can read more here Beefing the NP231 Transfer Case
