I have a 2014 Safari JKU. I bought some tires (KO2s) from a JL Rubicon. I had someone else put the tires on. However, the TPMS is not working. Someone said it was because the JL TPMS wasn’t the same as the JKU. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? My local shop can’t figure it out. Thx.

Both the Jk and the JL run the same hertz frequency so they should just need to be reprogrammed to the JK computer. So either the JL sensors are not compatible with the JK computer, or see if the dealer service center has an answer.

There is a good chance that whomever sold the JL wheels / tires took the sensors out before selling them. There is no programming required, just drive the Jeep and it will either find the new sensors (if they are there) or it won't.
