I have a 2015 wrangler unlimited, just got some used tires. same size and rims.

but the TPMS sensors are not reading, I was told that they worked, it could be an older model, does it take a min for it to read, or does it need to be reset????

in order to work sensors will need to be from a 2013 (might be 2014 I can not remember for sure) or newer jeep and it does take some time for them to read on a 2015. You need to drive around for 20 minutes or so if they have been sitting a long time. I swap a set of tires on rims back and forth depending on if I am offroading or just running around (one set of fat 35's and one set of skinny 33's) it always takes a bit of driving around before they register.

And the driving has to be over 35mph without stopping for 15-20 minutes, I've found. If they don't adapt by then you have to start really troubleshooting.
