Got a question on the TPMS in a 2010. When installing new units on the wheels do they have to be programmed to the Jeep, or are they "plug n play"?

Sometimes they need to be “reset” with a scan tool. Any tire shop can do it in about 1 minute per tire if you run into this issue.

Depending on the sensors. 95% of the time the sensors will automatically relearn to the Jeep within a day of driving. Not all Chrysler products can be force relearned when new sensors are installed.

I put used Ford TMPS in mine. Found some cheap $5.00 each. Run at the same frequency, I had to have them relearned for being now in a Jeep.
