I'm looking at buying a jeep that comes stock with the rear trac lok differential.
when I change out the gears to 410s can I just add a trac lok to the front as well!? Having trac-Lok diffs in the front and back good to do and is it worth it? The tech will be in there changing gears anyhow.

Thanks for the input.

I think that you're confusing Trac-Lok with Tru-Lok

Nope I'm not. I have Trac-Lok in the rear....and I want to add the same to the front. Not full lockers, just the LSD.

Factory Trac locs have a bad reputation for failure and parts to wear out. A true trac is a gear driven "lsd" and perform transparent on the street and great off road. It will add an extra 800 to 1000 to your gear job but well worth it.

I run True Tracs both front and rear - love em

Fantastic, thank you. If Im going to put them in the front AND the rear then I might as well save the money and get the jeep w/o the stock LSD in it. Thanks!

The TracLock on mine was dead after 23,000 miles including lots of light/moderate wheeling. They replaced it under warranty but when it dies again I will switch to TruTrac also.
